On any given week we may play an 18 hole course, a 9 hole executive course, arrange group lessons to build on our golfing skills, attend or participate in local tournaments or meet socially to discuss courses, techniques and tips. We follow USGA guidelines for play, recommend each player acquire a handicap and also seek continuous improvement to help insure a pleasurable experience for all.

There are many benefits to joining the ESGG

• Every month we participate in 9 and 18 hole course play, group workshops, social events and range practice, weather permitting
• Scenic courses as a group, tentative league tournament in May as well as several scrambles planned for July and October
• In the site resources you can find tips and instruction on golf swings, etiquette and keeping pace
• We often arrange group workshops at courses in the western Sacramento area on basic swing mechanics, chipping, putting and driving
• Arrange discounts for play and services in the area and list local golfing events on our calendar

Fees and Qualifications

• We encourage everyone to sign up for an NCGA handicap. It is not mandatory for our group at this time but there are many benefits inherit in joining that club
• Hit a golf ball 100 yards off the tee into the fairway
• Profiles must contain an accurate picture and name of the member
• Profiles must not be used to advertise products or services
• Respect your fellow group members and always RSVP accurately and timely
